Yesterday at 8 in the morning we woke up to listen to Harry Styles new song and I think half of the planet was listening to this release too. He went to BBC Radio 1 and at 9 o’clock he co-hosted the program “Breakfast Show” with his friend Grimmy in which they played his new song for the first time.

“Good morning, I’m nervous”

“I hope people like it”

“This is my new single, this is Sign Of The Times in Radio 1”

Those are just some of the things that Harry said before they started playing his song and after that the whole planet keep quite to listen to it.

This work is much more mature and you can see Harry really enjoying it and expressing himself through it. The lyrics are full of meaning and the beat of the song can make you thing of David Bowie and Queen at some points, you can listen a lot of similarities with the british rock from years ago.

Also his voice in this song is more beautiful than ever and the nostalgia and that little bit of sadness we can hear in it is so different from the things that Harry has sung before.

This powerful ballad was born in Jamaica, produced by Jeff Bhasker and co-writen by Harry. The singer decided to travel to Jamaica and compose the whole album there because, as he said in the interview with Grimmy, he needed to be in a place where he could be alone and just focusing on the music he was creating.

The music video for this song has already been filmed in Scotland and we have seen some photos taken during the filming in which we can see Harry hanging from an helicopter, so we can expect it to be so awesome!

On April 15th we can hear his new song live at “Saturday Night Live” with Jimmy Fallon.

If you missed the BBC Radio 1 program, you can listen to it here.

“We don’t talk enough
We should open up
Before it’s all too much
Will we ever learn?
We’ve been here before
It’s just what we know”
